Overview

Ashley | The Wellsville Group is seeking a creative and hands-on Visual Merchandising Specialist to enhance the customer experience at their Cuyahoga Falls and Fairlawn showroom locations. The role involves styling showroom displays, managing merchandise, and ensuring an engaging atmosphere for customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and maintain stylish, visually engaging showroom displays and lifestyle setups
  • Accessorize spaces with wall art, rugs, lamps, and tabletop décor
  • Receive, unbox, tag, and organize showroom accessories and merchandise
  • Keep the showroom floor and accessory warehouse clean and polished
  • Assist with inventory management and product replenishment
  • Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Coordinate product movement and setup with warehouse and showroom teams
  • Handle returned or damaged merchandise efficiently

Required skills

  • Degree in Interior Design, Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferred, or 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Creative eye for design and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable with inventory and purchase order systems
  • Willingness to travel between showroom locations
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds
  • Comfortable with physical activity including standing, walking, and moving merchandise
