The Vision Teacher (TVI) at Northwestern Illinois Association plays a vital role in supporting students with vision impairments across school settings. The position entails assessing students' needs, developing individualized education programs (IEPs), and delivering specialized instruction to promote their academic and social success. This role also emphasizes collaboration with educational teams and ongoing professional development.

Key responsibilities

Required skills

  • Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator's License (PEL) with TVI endorsement
