Overview

The Vice President of Sales Lease Finance at First Bank Chicago is responsible for business development and management within the Lease Finance Group. Reporting to the Chief Lending Officer, this role involves originating and evaluating leases, maintaining client relationships, and achieving budget goals through proactive sales activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop a referral network and perform sales activities to establish relationships with business clients
  • Originate, evaluate, and recommend approval of lease transactions
  • Maintain and prepare lending activity reports including bid and pipeline reports
  • Negotiate and analyze new loan requests
  • Interview clients regarding credit and banking service needs
  • Evaluate and monitor existing loans and respond to client inquiries
  • Negotiate extensions and oversee loan presentations
  • Monitor portfolio for potential problem loans and attend relevant meetings
  • Stay informed on economic, financial, and legislative events affecting commercial lending
  • Attend departmental and loan committee meetings as required
