Vice President of Recruitment Location: New Rochelle, NYCompensation: $130,000-$140,000 About the Company Our client is a respected nonprofit organization experiencing continued growth and expansion. They are seeking a strategic Vice President of Recruitment to lead enterprise-wide talent acquisition initiatives, workforce planning, and recruitment operations. Why You'll Love This Opportunity Join a mission-driven organization with a strong community impact Executive leadership role with the opportunity to shape workforce strategy Partner directly with senior leadership on organizational growth initiatives Lead recruitment innovation, workforce planning, and talent development Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Responsibilities Develop and execute organization-wide talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies aligned with business objectives Lead recruitment initiatives to attract top talent and address critical hiring needs Build and maintain strategic partnerships with colleges, universities, workforce development organizations, and community partners Oversee recruitment marketing, applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment vendors, and sourcing strategies Develop workforce pipeline programs for high-demand and hard-to-fill positions Represent the organization at career fairs, networking events, and community recruitment initiatives Analyze recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, vacancy rates, applicant flow, turnover trends, and hiring effectiveness Ensure recruitment processes remain compliant with all federal, state, and local employment regulations Design and implement employee retention strategies that improve workforce stability and engagement Partner with Learning & Development and HR leadership on onboarding, career development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives Supervise and mentor recruitment staff while fostering accountability and professional growth Manage recruitment budgets, vendor relationships, and related contracts Prepare workforce planning and recruitment reports for executive leadership Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on talent acquisition trends, workforce planning, compensation competitiveness, and staffing challenges Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Services, or a related field 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, human resources, or workforce planning Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience Experience developing and executing strategic recruitment initiatives Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, recruitment analytics, and workforce reporting Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and drive organizational initiatives Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license with the ability to travel between office locations and recruitment events as needed
