The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the execution of engineering programs, from design to production and deployment, with a strong focus on driving accountability for timelines, milestones, and technical outcomes. This hands-on leadership position demands a leader who can partner with product teams to align roadmaps with engineering capacity, and who is adept at managing and developing engineering managers and individual contributors. The VP of Engineering will also be instrumental in building a high-performing, collaborative team, and ensuring the effective transition of projects from R&D to engineering and into manufacturing. We are looking for a seasoned engineering professional with over 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles, and a proven track record in delivering complex products. The ideal candidate will have a background in hardware or deep tech environments, with a strong understanding of systems-level thinking, integration, and manufacturing. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is essential, and a background in cryogenic systems, quantum technologies, or similar advanced hardware is highly desirable. The role requires a leader who can provide technical guidance, support the resolution of complex challenges, and ensure rigor in the development of advanced hardware systems.
