Overview

BNY is seeking a high-impact, strategic leader for the role of Vice President, GP&T Go-to-Market Commercialization. As part of the Commercial organization individual will play a critical role in shaping how Global Payments & Trade solutions are brought to market for our Commercial Sales and Client Service teams to adopt and position for commercial success. Working closely with Product, Sales, Service and cross-functional partners, this person will help translate product innovation into actionable commercialization strategies that prepare our client facing teams, strengthen market readiness, and drive business growth.This is an ideal opportunity for a commercially minded professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and innovation. The successful candidate will be highly collaborative, intellectually curious, and adept at connecting the dots across a diverse portfolio of Global Payments & Trade capabilities. They will bring a strong ability to solve complex problems, navigate ambiguity, and build structured plans that help turn product priorities into meaningful commercial outcomes.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Partner closely with Product and key stakeholders across the Global Payments & Trade organization to design and execute go-to-market and commercialization plans for new and evolving solutionsConnect priorities across a broad range of Global Payments & Trade products and capabilities to create cohesive commercialization strategies that support client and business needsLead cross-functional readiness efforts to ensure Sales, Service, and Onboarding teams are equipped to successfully support product launches and migrationsSupport launch execution through disciplined project management, strong stakeholder coordination, and clearly defined success metricsDevelop strategic messaging, communications, and training plans that support effective internal alignment and external positioningCreate and refine commercialization materials, including product messaging, sales collateral, storytelling, and presentationsConduct market, competitor, and internal research to identify opportunities, inform strategy, and enhance go-to-market effectivenessLeverage AI-enabled tools and research capabilities to accelerate insights, improve efficiency, and enhance decision-makingApply strategic thinking and sound judgment to solve problems, manage competing priorities, and advance high-impact initiativesTo be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred7-10 years of relevant work experience preferredExperience in commercialization, go-to-market strategy, product management, marketing, or strategic business execution within financial servicesStrong knowledge of Global Payments & Trade, payments, transaction banking, or related product domains preferredProven ability to work effectively across Product and cross-functional stakeholder groups in a complex, matrixed environmentStrong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives and drive execution with disciplineExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiencesStrategic thinker with the ability to synthesize information across a wide range of solutions and translate complexity into actionable plansStrong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify opportunities, address gaps, and recommend practical solutionsDemonstrated ability to use AI tools and research capabilities to improve productivity, generate insights, and enhance work qualityStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including presentation development and data analysisAt BNY, our culture allows us to run our company better and enables employees' growth and success.
