The successful candidate will be tasked with leading capital formation activities and expanding institutional investor relationships, both within Canada and in select global markets. This pivotal role involves the development and execution of a fundraising strategy for a flagship open-ended real estate fund, as well as supporting capital raising initiatives across the broader platform. Key responsibilities include establishing and executing an institutional business development plan, and cultivating relationships with a range of institutional investors such as pension plans, consultants, endowments, foundations, and family offices. The ideal candidate for this role at the company will be an entrepreneurial and relationship-driven professional with a proven track record in institutional capital raising, particularly within the real estate, real assets, private markets, or alternative investments sectors.
