Vice President, Fund Accounting About the Company A growing global financial services organization providing specialized support to alternative investment managers. Industry Financial Services Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President, Fund Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of fund accounting services to a portfolio of alternative investment clients, with a focus on the hedge fund and private equity sectors. This role involves a combination of client relationship management, operational leadership, team development, and strategic business support. Key responsibilities include overseeing fund accounting services, acting as the primary relationship lead for clients, leading client service reviews, and driving operational excellence. The role also requires the management, mentoring, and development of fund accounting professionals, as well as collaboration with internal teams to enhance operational effectiveness. To be considered for this position, candidates must have a minimum of 8 years' of experience in fund administration, fund accounting, alternative investments, or public accounting, with a strong background in servicing hedge fund and/or private equity clients. Proven leadership experience in managing and developing accounting or fund administration teams is essential. The ideal candidate will have a professional accounting designation and possess strong technical knowledge of fund accounting, NAV production, financial reporting, and alternative investment structures. Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills, as well as a proactive and entrepreneurial approach, are also required.
