Overview

BNY is looking for a Vice President, Fiduciary to join their Wealth Management team in Philadelphia. The role involves administering fiduciary duties, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with fiduciary standards while mentoring colleagues in the process.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer and advise on fiduciary duties as trustee for multi-generational families
  • Coordinate strategic plans to manage and grow client relationships
  • Interpret governing trust documents and collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Evaluate and pursue new business opportunities for UHNW and HNW clients
  • Oversee fiduciary administration tasks including request approvals and account maintenance
  • Identify and address risk-related issues to protect client interests
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on fiduciary topics and policies
  • Drive business development through client relationships and self-sourced asset inflows

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in fiduciary administration
  • Strong self-motivation and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Professional certifications such as CTFA or CFP preferred
  • Experience mentoring and training team members
  • Adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
