Overview

The Vice President, Credit Alternatives Investment Product at Fidelity Investments will lead the product strategy and development for the firm's Credit Alternatives lineup, which includes direct lending and private real estate debt. This role involves managing a team of product managers and collaborating with various internal stakeholders to enhance Fidelity's product offerings in the credit alternatives space.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the product roadmap for private markets and credit alternatives.
  • Drive product innovation by identifying market gaps and evolving investor demand.
  • Engage with IPG peers to align alternative product strategy with broader investment capabilities.
  • Communicate with distribution leadership to understand client needs and competitive developments.
  • Secure senior level buy-in for new credit alternative investment products.
  • Partner with senior investment leaders to support product decisions and portfolio design.
  • Manage a high-functioning product team.

Required skills

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services
  • Deep understanding of private markets, particularly credit alternatives
  • Strong command of regulatory and operational considerations for private credit structures
  • Ability to partner effectively with various teams including investment, risk, and legal
  • Track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving decision making
