Vice President, Associate Creative Director, Art About the Company Leading US pharmaceutical client Industry Pharmaceuticals Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Freelance VP, Associate Creative Director, Art to spearhead the visual development and execution of innovative creative solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the art direction on healthcare and pharmaceutical brands, with a focus on HCP and consumer marketing. This role requires a creative leader with a strong portfolio in healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing, a deep understanding of the regulatory environment, and a passion for mentoring teams to enhance creative excellence. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' agency experience, including a significant background in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare advertising, and a proven track record in managing and mentoring creative teams. Applicants for this role at the company should possess exceptional art direction, design, and visual storytelling abilities, as well as a strong portfolio demonstrating integrated pharmaceutical and healthcare marketing work. A deep understanding of digital, social, experiential, print, video, and omnichannel marketing is essential, along with knowledge of FDA regulations and the medical-legal-regulatory (MLR) review process. Preferred qualifications include experience with blockbuster pharmaceutical brands, rare diseases, oncology, specialty, or immunology, and a background in leading integrated omnichannel campaigns targeting healthcare professionals and patients. Familiarity with AI-enabled creative tools and emerging digital engagement technologies is also a plus.
