Overview

The vendeur professionnel at RONA is responsible for providing expert product knowledge and customer service to help clients make informed purchasing decisions. This role plays a key part in ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving sales objectives within a supportive and inclusive team environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a product expert by providing information to customers and fellow associates
  • Engage in sales activities by promoting products and services that meet customer needs
  • Ensure shelves are well-stocked and properly displayed
  • Prepare weekly promotional circulars
  • Manage order-related tasks, including processing new customer orders and communicating with suppliers
  • Follow up on past orders and assist customers with finding and loading merchandise
  • Perform other tasks related to the smooth operation of the store

Required skills

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in hardware or home improvement sectors is a strong asset
