Overview

The Gund Company is seeking a Value Stream Manager (VSM) for its fabrication operations in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This role involves overseeing the Order Fulfillment Process and leading production operations within assigned markets. The VSM will focus on employee development, safety, and continuous process improvements while ensuring manufacturing goals are met for quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve productivity and quality goals
  • Build and sustain a culture of safety, engagement, and accountability
  • Set production priorities and schedules to meet customer delivery needs
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to satisfy current demands
  • Drive quality performance and ensure compliance with customer requirements
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration with various departments
  • Lead kaizens and train direct reports on lean problem-solving tools
  • Assist in capital project planning and strategy execution
  • Participate in gross profit reviews and support estimating processes
