Overview

The Gund Company is seeking a full-time Value Stream Manager - Composites to oversee the Order Fulfillment Process in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The role involves leading production operations, managing team development, and promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve productivity, quality, and cultural engagement goals.
  • Establish a culture of safety and accountability through accident prevention and safety compliance.
  • Set production line priorities and schedules to meet customer delivery needs.
  • Conduct problem solving and root-cause analysis to eliminate bottlenecks in processes.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet current demands.
  • Drive quality performance and lead corrective actions for nonconformances.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and communication with various departments.
  • Lead kaizen events and train team members in lean problem-solving tools.
  • Recommend improvements in methods, equipment, and materials for efficiency.
  • Participate in gross profit reviews and assist in strategic planning and budgeting.
