Overview

CALIBRE Systems Inc. is seeking a VA Benefits Advisor to provide transition support at Fort Drum, NY. The role involves conducting VA Benefits and Services Briefings, one-on-one engagements, and serving as an entry-level instructor for training activities related to military transitions.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct standardized VA Benefits and Services Briefings
  • Provide one-on-one engagement and pre-separation counseling support
  • Participate in military life cycle events and Capstone events
  • Deliver onsite activities and execute post-event data collection activities
  • Execute quality management activities at assigned installation
  • Participate in weekly Site Lead meetings

Required skills

  • Understanding and application of adult learning theories
  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong customer management and support skills
  • Experience delivering interactive workshops and training
  • Bachelor's degree or 3 years equivalent work/military experience
  • Understanding of transitioning Service member populations
