Overview

Transdev is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee in Elmira, NY. This role involves performing basic vehicle servicing duties and requires a strong focus on customer service and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform light duty repairs
  • Handle general garage maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness of fleet vehicles, both interior and exterior
  • Drive, maneuver, and park vehicles
  • Fuel buses and replenish fluids, logging all fluid levels
  • Download drive cameras and probes fare boxes
  • Perform light maintenance to shop areas and fueling stations
  • Report maintenance issues to supervisor
  • Other duties as required

Required skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years
  • Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement (training provided)
  • Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules
  • Experience with heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Knowledge of safety procedures
  • Customer service skills
