Overview

The Utility Worker at SSP in Cranberry Twp is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various dining areas within the Pittsburgh Airport's restaurant portfolio. The role involves ensuring a positive guest experience by keeping work areas hygienic and assisting with basic food service tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Create a positive guest experience by maintaining hygienic work areas
  • Clean and maintain surfaces and equipment, including floors, ceilings, and tables
  • Remove refuse to designated areas
  • Clear and reset tables in dining areas between seatings
  • Wash dirty dishes and return them to storage
  • Use specific chemicals to clean equipment and meet sanitary standards
  • Assist guests with specific requests and communicate needs to staff
  • Load/unload supply trucks
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check temperatures of food items
  • Other duties as assigned
