Key responsibilities

  • Support construction crews with excavation, trenching, and concrete work
  • Operate hand tools and small power tools under direction
  • Read tape measurements for layout and installation tasks
  • Set up and operate small equipment safely
  • Assist with setting up traffic control devices according to instructions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work zone
  • Follow safety protocols including PPE usage
