Overview

The US Wealth Regional Director at Santander Holdings USA Inc. is responsible for leading revenue growth strategies and distribution execution for the broker-dealer's High Net Worth (HNW) and International Wealth segment. This role demands a profound understanding of U.S. wealth management regulations to drive client acquisition and deepen existing relationships, partnering closely with various internal teams to implement commercial strategies across a diverse clientele.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commercial sales strategy for HNW and international wealth businesses.
  • Drive growth in key product lines including managed portfolios and alternatives.
  • Set sales targets and compensation levers to align with P&L objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of relationship managers and advisors.
  • Oversee pipeline development and client segmentation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and firm requirements.
  • Collaborate with Product and Investment teams to expand offerings in wealth advisory.
  • Engage with top HNW advisors on growth initiatives.
  • Monitor risk indicators and ensure compliance in sales practices.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 9+ years experience in Investment Services
  • 9+ years of sales management experience in Financial Services
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to recruit, attract, and retain top-performing advisors
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Active FINRA Series 7, 24, 66, and 4 licenses
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
