Overview

Cynet locums is seeking a Urology Physician to provide call-only coverage in an inpatient hospital setting. The position involves handling both inpatient and consult admissions, with an ongoing need for flexible coverage in Clyde, NC.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide beeper call coverage
  • Manage inpatient hospital consultations and admissions as needed
  • Perform various urology procedures including laparoscopic, robotic surgeries, and endoscopic techniques
  • Respond to phone consults and perform average of 4-5 consults per 24 hours
  • Collaborate with support staff including RN and MA
  • Ensure credentialing and comply with licensing requirements

Required skills

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
  • North Carolina license
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Experience with general and pediatric urology
  • Advanced endoscopic techniques
  • Laparoscopic surgeries
  • Percutaneous nephrolithotomy
  • Ureteroscopy
  • Radical cystectomy and prostatectomy
  • Nephrectomy and partial nephrectomy
  • Pelvic lymph node dissection
  • Robotic surgery
  • Adrenalectomy
  • Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy
  • TRUS biopsies
  • Incontinence procedures
