Overview

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Urogynecologist to serve as Division Chief of Urogynecology and an Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics & Gynecology at Southern Illinois University (SIU) in Springfield, Illinois. This role includes leading a new division while balancing clinical practice, teaching, and research, with most responsibilities focused on improving patient care and education.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the urogynecology division
  • Teach residents and mentor future physicians
  • Practice in the state-of-the-art Pelvic Wellness Center
  • Partner with nurse practitioners for intake of diverse patient cases
  • Conduct clinical research with coordinated teams
  • Balance 70% clinical time with 30% academic time
