Overview

The Urgent Care Physician Assistant position at BAS Healthcare in Greenville, North Carolina involves providing acute care services in a vibrant university town. The role requires full-time availability and entails treating both adult and pediatric patients, performing minor procedures, and working collaboratively with a supportive team in an urgent care center.

Key responsibilities

  • See up to 40 patients per day as the sole provider
  • Treat both adult and pediatric patients
  • Perform minor procedures including I&D, laceration repair, and ear irrigation
  • Work collaboratively with center managers, medical assistants, and patient service associates
  • Complete clinical interview, EMR training, and onboarding before first solo shift

Required skills

  • Minimum 12 months of relevant urgent care experience
  • Proficient with EPIC electronic medical record system
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Board Certification, PA Certification, Family NP Certification, or BLS
  • Licensed in North Carolina
