Overview

The Urgent Care Physician Assistant will work in Greenville, North Carolina, at a well-established healthcare network providing acute care services. The role involves seeing patients, performing minor procedures, and collaborating with a supportive healthcare team in a vibrant community.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide full-time urgent care services
  • See up to 40 patients per day as the sole provider
  • Treat both adult and pediatric patients
  • Perform minor procedures such as I&D, laceration repair, and ear irrigation
  • Collaborate with support staff including medical assistants and patient service associates
  • Complete clinical interview, EMR training, and onboarding before first solo shift

Required skills

  • Minimum 12 months of relevant urgent care experience
  • Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Board Certification, PA Certification, Family NP Certification, or BLS required
  • Licensed in North Carolina
