Overview

BAS Healthcare is seeking a Physician Assistant for their urgent care team in Kennesaw, Georgia. This role involves working closely with Emergency Medicine physicians in a high-acuity environment, delivering comprehensive patient care in a collaborative and modern clinical setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments with 10-15 patient encounters per shift
  • Order and interpret diagnostics for acute conditions
  • Perform procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal
  • Work alongside Emergency Medicine physicians with no solo coverage
  • Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Maintain a commitment to patient-centered care

Required skills

  • Licensed in Georgia
  • Board certification eligible
  • Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or hospital-based practice
  • Proficient in laceration repair, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal
  • Strong clinical judgment
  • Effective communication skills
