Overview

SSM Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their busy Urgent Care clinic in north Oklahoma City. This role involves providing comprehensive urgent care, evaluating and treating a variety of acute illnesses and injuries, and performing necessary procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure
  • Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
  • Perform urgent care procedures including suturing, splinting, and wound care

Required skills

  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a practicing provider
  • Active, unrestricted Oklahoma NP or PA license
  • Board-certified or board-eligible (PA: NCCPA, NP: ANCC or AANP with FNP required)
  • Active DEA (or ability to obtain)
  • BLS certification
  • EHR proficiency
  • Strong procedural skills in urgent care settings
  • Experience with initial X-ray interpretation
