Overview

The Urban Conservation & Community Intern at The Conservation Fund will focus on advancing conservation priorities in underserved urban areas. This role involves conducting assessments of conservation acquisition projects and analyzing methodologies to enhance urban conservation efforts.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments of conservation acquisition projects
  • Document funding methodologies and conduct interviews with community partners
  • Analyze city and regional landscapes to inform impactful conservation efforts
  • Identify and map methodologies used in urban conservation work
  • Develop a framework for new urban conservation models
  • Complete community needs assessments through interviews
