Overview

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures for patients of all ages. This role involves operating ultrasound equipment and providing oral or written summaries of technical findings to physicians while ensuring quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and produce high-quality images
  • Provide oral or written summaries of technical findings to physicians
  • Demonstrate knowledge of patient care appropriate to age
  • Assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret necessary information
  • Utilize the department's computerized systems and associated devices
  • Recognize differences between healthy and pathological areas

Required skills

  • Graduate of recognized training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent
  • 1 year of clinical ultrasound experience preferred
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or registry eligible
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to provide patient care and assess patient data
