Overview

OhioHealth is seeking a part-time casual Ultrasonographer for Mansfield Hospital. This role involves independently performing ultrasound examinations, interpreting findings, and assisting with invasive procedures while focusing on patient care and safety.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform various ultrasound examinations and interpret results based on medical history and symptoms
  • Assist Radiologists with invasive procedures
  • Evaluate normal vs. abnormal test results and correlate with patient history and previous examinations
  • Provide preliminary ultrasound results to attending physicians and surgeons
  • Teach and educate imaging students and residents in scanning methods and instrumentation
  • Maintain equipment, stock supplies, and perform quality control procedures

Required skills

  • Associate's Degree
  • ARDMS Certification
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • 1-2 years ultrasound training from an accredited program
  • 1-2 years previous ultrasound experience
