Overview

The Gund Company is looking for a full-time Turret Punch Operator for the 2nd shift, to support their production operations in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The role involves operating turret punch machinery, ensuring quality standards are met, and performing manual assembly tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Operate one or more CNC machines, including turret punch and Haas vertical mills.
  • Perform manual assembly and fabrication tasks using hand tools and machines.
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards.
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Turret Punch set-up experience (1-2 years preferred)
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers)
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
