This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to make a significant impact within a forward-thinking and innovative firm. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the areas of trust and estate planning, administration, and litigation. The position demands a high level of responsibility and offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex and challenging cases, providing top-tier service to our esteemed clients. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Trust & Estates Partner, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 1. Providing comprehensive legal advice and counsel to clients on complex trust and estate planning matters. 2. Drafting, reviewing, and interpreting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents. 3. Representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in estate and trust administration matters, including the probate process, trust administration, and estate tax return preparation. 4. Handling all aspects of trust and estate litigation, including disputes involving will contests, trust contests, claims against fiduciaries, and other related matters. 5. Collaborating with our team of attorneys to develop and implement effective strategies for our clients. 6. Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication. 7. Keeping current with changes in trust and estate law and informing clients of potential impacts on their estate plans. Qualifications: To qualify for the role of Permanent Trust & Estates Partner, you must possess: 1. A Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school. 2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. 3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate law, with a strong background in fiduciary matters. 4. Demonstrated expertise in drafting and interpreting complex legal documents related to estate planning. 5. Proven experience in handling trust and estate litigation. 6. Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently. 7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. 8. A strong commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality. 9. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing a high-volume caseload while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client service.
