Overview

Stone Express, a division of The H&K Group, Inc., is seeking skilled Truck Mechanics for 1st and 2nd shifts in Douglassville, Pennsylvania. The role involves the repair and maintenance of electric, diesel, and gasoline vocational trucks, focusing on safety and quality work procedures.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and equipment following OSHA and H&K Safety policies.
  • Diagnose malfunctions by observing and listening to equipment in operation.
  • Install new ignition systems and replace transmissions and engines.
  • Lubricate and service vehicles, ensuring state inspection requirements are met.
  • Fabricate lifting and towing attachments as needed.
  • Conduct collision repairs, including sanding, prepping, and painting.

Required skills

  • One-year certificate in diesel mechanics or related field, or 2 years of related experience.
  • Class A or B CDL or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Customer service and teamwork skills.
  • Mathematical skills and ability to work in various shifts.
  • Ability to utilize appropriate PPE.
  • Physical ability to meet job requirements.
