Overview

Cavalier Logistics is seeking a full-time Truck Driver Non-CDL in Elk Grove Village, IL for local and over-the-road deliveries. This role focuses on the safe operation of company equipment and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers while maintaining logs and communicating with dispatch.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive a 26-foot box truck to transport and deliver various cargo and goods.
  • Perform local and over-the-road deliveries in accordance with company's SOPs.
  • Maintain logs of activities related to driving hours and vehicle condition.
  • Report important information to dispatcher regarding schedule and conditions.

Required skills

  • Minimum 2 years of driving experience
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must pass drug test and background check
  • High school diploma or GED
