Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers in East Hartford, Connecticut. The position offers home daily schedules and an average annual salary of $92,000, along with various bonuses. Drivers will be responsible for making dock-to-dock deliveries of grocery products using late model Penske trucks equipped with safety technology.

Key responsibilities

  • Make dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized grocery products
  • Complete deliveries on a local schedule, ensuring drivers are home daily
  • Adhere to all federal and state regulations and safety guidelines
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
  • Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and customer service
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
