Overview

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers for immediate opportunities in Washington, New Jersey. The role involves making dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized grocery products while ensuring safety and maintaining excellent customer service. Drivers will be home daily and can benefit from various schedules, incentivizing additional work days.

Key responsibilities

  • Make dock-to-dock deliveries of palletized grocery products
  • Drive late model Penske trucks equipped with safety features
  • Work multiple schedules available, starting at 11 pm
  • Maintain safety and compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Ensure regular and predictable attendance

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years or 2 years within the last 5 years
  • Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • Excellent safety and customer service skills
  • Strong driving record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in the last 3 years
