Overview

Penske Logistics is seeking Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Midland, Texas. This role offers a dedicated route with home daily benefits, driving late model, Penske maintained trucks. The average annual salary is $77,422, with a $5,000 retention bonus available.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
  • Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
  • Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
  • Complete 10 stops and 10 drop and hook per week
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a constant state of alertness

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
  • Ability to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
  • Familiarity with safety compliance and logistics management
  • Clear communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in English language
