Job Description

Overview

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers to deliver structural steel products to customers across several states. This role promises local routes with the opportunity to return home daily and offers a competitive compensation package, including a retention bonus.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver structural steel products within PA, MD, NY, OH, and WV
  • Average 15 to 20 stops per week
  • Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers
  • Follow all federal and state laws and regulations
  • Work a Monday through Friday schedule with dispatch between 2:30 am to 5 am

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years or 2 years in the last 5 years
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Safety management
  • Knowledge of logistics coordination
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy loads
  • Compliance with Department of Transportation regulations
  • English language proficiency
