Overview

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Webster, New York, offering a competitive hourly wage of $31.45 with overtime after 40 hours. This role includes a $5,000 retention bonus and requires driving late-model trucks to deliver steel to customer locations, maintaining a professional demeanor and adhering to safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver steel to customer locations on a flatbed trailer
  • Tarp, strap, and secure load
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
  • Follow all federal and state laws and regulations
  • Work regular schedules, starting between 5am to 10am, Monday through Friday

Required skills

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years
  • Ability to obtain a DOT medical card
  • English language proficiency
  • Experience with safety management and load securing
