Overview

Peckham Industries is seeking a Class B Truck Driver to transport asphalt and related materials safely and efficiently to job sites in Franklin, New Hampshire. The role is vital in supporting paving operations and ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver asphalt and aggregate materials to job sites safely and on time
  • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies
  • Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Coordinate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, and field crews
  • Complete and submit all delivery documentation accurately
  • Adapt to changing job site conditions, traffic, and weather
  • Protect equipment and materials following proper loading and dumping procedures
  • Assist team members in maintaining a safe work environment

Required skills

  • Valid CDL B License
  • Clean driving record
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably in construction or asphalt
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
