Job Description

Overview

The Trimmer is responsible for trimming, flaming, and finishing plastic parts, as well as sorting and counting order quantities. This role is part of the Manufacturing team at Metalcraft of Mayville and operates on the 3rd shift, from 10 PM to 6 AM, Sunday to Thursday.

Key responsibilities

  • Trim excess plastic from parting lines
  • Inspect product and communicate findings back to machine operators
  • Assemble product according to specific work instructions
  • Perform data entry and basic computer functions
  • Select correct hand tooling for job tasks
  • Account for time and work via online computer data collection system
  • Make routine decisions and resolve basic manufacturing issues
  • Report and document material, production, and quality control issues
  • Participate in equipment preventative maintenance
