Job Description

Overview

The Pocono Lake Division of the H&K Group is seeking experienced and motivated Tri-Axle CDL Drivers with Hazmat certification. This role emphasizes reliability and attentiveness, with responsibilities including maintaining truck logs and performing truck maintenance while driving to various destinations.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform all work according to FMCSA and H&K Safety policies
  • Drive truck to destination and prepare receipts for loaded materials
  • Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policy
  • Maintain communication with supervisor for delivery instructions
  • Load and unload truck as required
  • Perform daily pre and post trip inspections of vehicle
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • Class A CDL
  • Hazmat certification
  • One year of commercial driving experience
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work a 2nd shift schedule
  • Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE
  • Physical capability to meet job requirements
