Job Description

Overview

The Hazleton Division of The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking experienced Class A and B CDL drivers to transport equipment and materials throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. This role emphasizes reliability and attentiveness, as candidates will be responsible for maintaining logs and performing daily truck inspections.

Key responsibilities

  • Adhere to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
  • Drive truck to destinations
  • Prepare receipts for load pickups
  • Maintain truck logs according to regulations
  • Communicate with supervisors regarding delivery instructions
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies
  • Perform daily pre and post trip vehicle inspections
  • Tarp and trim loads as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Required skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Class A CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience or Class B CDL with 1 year of triaxle driving experience
  • Valid Medical Card
  • Clean driving record
  • Customer service and teamwork
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to utilize appropriate PPE
  • Physical capability to meet job requirements
