Overview

The H&K Group is seeking motivated and experienced Tri-Axle CDL Drivers to join their team in Bernville, Pennsylvania. This role is crucial for maintaining truck logs and ensuring truck reliability while adhering to safety policies. The company offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and development in the field of heavy civil construction.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive truck to destination and maintain contact with supervisor for delivery instructions
  • Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies, including tires and brakes
  • Load and unload truck, ensuring all loads are tarped when necessary
  • Perform daily pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Adhere to MSHA and H&K Safety policies

Required skills

  • Class A CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience or Class B CDL with 1 year of triaxle driving experience
  • Valid Medical Card and clean driving record
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer service and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to use appropriate PPE as needed
  • Physical ability to meet job requirements, including lifting
