Job Description

Overview

The Pocono Lake Division of The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking experienced and motivated Tri-Axle CDL Drivers with Hazmat certification. This role is vital for ensuring reliable transport operations from the Locust Ridge Quarry and Asphalt, and emphasizes the importance of maintaining truck logs and vehicle upkeep.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform work according to FMCSA and H&K Safety policies
  • Drive truck to destination and prepare receipts for loads picked up
  • Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
  • Keep in contact with supervisor for delivery instructions
  • Load and unload truck
  • Perform daily pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Complete other assigned duties

Required skills

  • Class A CDL with Hazmat certification
  • One year of commercial driving experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE
  • Meet physical requirements for the job
