Our crews help keep electrical infrastructure safe and reliable by maintaining proper vegetation clearance around power lines and utility corridors.We are currently seeking experienced Tree Trimmers / Climbers to join our field operations team. This role is responsible for safely trimming and removing vegetation near energized utility lines while working from the ground, in the tree canopy, or using aerial lift equipment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, comfortable working at heights, and experienced with climbing and rigging techniques used in professional line clearance operations. What We Offer:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceTerm Life, AD&D, and Voluntary Life InsuranceDisability Income ProtectionPaid HolidaysPaid Time Off (PTO)Employee Assistance Program (EAP) ️ Key Responsibilities:Trim and clear vegetation along utility rights-of-way as directed by the Crew LeaderClimb trees using rope and saddle to prune or remove branches near energized conductorsUse chainsaws, hand saws, pruners, and other tree trimming tools safely and efficientlyOperate chippers and other vegetation management equipmentPerform hazard tree removal around power lines and utility infrastructureFollow Minimum Approach Distance requirements when working near energized linesMaintain and sharpen chainsaws and other hand toolsAssist with site cleanup by cutting underbrush and removing debrisMay perform traffic flagging duties to maintain safe work zonesMay assist with vegetation control including herbicide application Top Qualifications:Ability to climb trees using rope and saddle techniquesExperience trimming trees around energized electrical conductorsAbility to identify electrical systems and maintain safe clearance distancesKnowledge of knots, rigging techniques, and aerial tree work practicesAbility to safely operate chainsaws and power pruning tools while aloftStrong communication skills and ability to follow direction from Crew LeadersMust comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policiesCPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtainMust be 18 years of age or olderMust have reliable transportation to the designated startup locationMust pass a pre-employment drug screening ️ Working Conditions:Outdoor field environment with exposure to weather, heights, and uneven terrainRegular climbing, lifting, carrying, and use of chainsaws and rigging equipmentFrequent lifting up to 50 lbsMust be comfortable working in tree canopies or aerial lift equipmentTravel to various job sites as neededCandidates must be available for full-time work, including 10-12 hour shifts.
