Job Description

Overview

As a Treasury Services Specialist I at Midland States Bank, you will be responsible for supporting Treasury Service products and delivering exceptional customer service. Your role will involve processing various Treasury Services, maintaining compliance with regulations, and assisting in training bank staff on these services.

Key responsibilities

  • Verify information pertaining to Treasury Service Products during customer setup.
  • Serve as the customer contact representative for Treasury Service products.
  • Process ACH, Wire Transfers, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, Lock Box, and Online Banking applications.
  • Answer questions regarding deposit products and applications related to Treasury Services.
  • Maintain knowledge of new and existing systems software and hardware.
  • Set up and maintain online banking profiles.
  • Conduct training and instruction for bank staff on Treasury Services.
  • Perform compliance checks and maintain regulatory knowledge.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Required skills

  • Associates degree or equivalent banking experience
  • Knowledge of Treasury Management and Banking Operations
  • Experience with Financial Analysis
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
