Job Description: This is a traveling installer job. 100% travel within Illinois and outside of the state (IL) is required, paid for by the company. Anytime you are not traveling, you are off (a few days to weeks) but still paid your salary. Are you looking to kickstart your career in the construction industry in a salaried role? We are hiring for a well established security laminate company based in Northern Illinois. They are looking for an entry-level security laminate installer to join their team. No experience required, they will train you on the job. If you have some leadership experience, they will fast track you to a leadership role. Here's what we're looking for: Someone who shares the company passion/mission of saving lives (through installation of security laminate film as protection during active shooting) and is ready to hit the road, traveling to locations across the country for each installation. But don't worry, when you're not on the job, you'll have plenty of time to yourself to recharge while getting paid the other half of the year. No prior experience in the field? No problem! They'll provide comprehensive on-the-job training. We're seeking individuals who thrive both independently and as part of a team, with outstanding interpersonal skills and communication abilities. If you're punctual, self-motivated, detail-oriented, thrive in a construction environment, and have a love for travel, then this could be the perfect fit! Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to travel 100% of the time outside of the state, paid for by the company. Fluency in English is required for effective communication on the job. Must be able to pass a background check. High school diploma or equivalent educational experience is preferred.
