Job Description Job Description We are seeking an experienced Licensed Journeyman Electrician for acommercial project doing a hospital addition in Salem, KY.Must have a Kentucky Journeyman License or be able to reciprocate (Ohio, Louisiana, Virginia, and West Virginia).Project Details:Working 5 days, 10 hour shifts, 50 hours a week.Duration at least 1 yearPer Diem $75 for qualified personnelJob Responsibilities:Lead and oversee daily operations on assigned commercial electrical projectsSupervise, mentor, and coordinate apprentices and field electriciansPlan and assign daily work to ensure project milestones and deadlines are metInstall, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems as neededRead and interpret electrical blueprints, specifications, and project drawingsCoordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other tradesBend and install EMT, rigid conduit, cable tray, and other raceway systemsInstall panels, switchgear, lighting systems, feeders, and commercial electrical equipmentTroubleshoot electrical systems and resolve field issues efficientlyEnsure all work complies with NEC, local electrical codes, and OSHA safety standardsConduct job site safety meetings and maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environmentTrack material needs, identify shortages, and coordinate deliveriesPerform quality control inspections to ensure work meets company and customer expectationsComplete daily reports and communicate project progress to managementRequired Qualifications:Current KY Journeyman Electrician licenseMust be able to speak fluent EnglishProven experience leading commercial electrical projects and field crewsStrong knowledge of NEC, commercial electrical systems, and construction practicesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and construction documentsExperience coordinating multiple tasks and maintaining project schedulesExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational abilitiesCommitment to quality workmanship and job site safetyAbility to operate lifts and work from ladders and scaffolding Company Description We consider applicants for all positions without regard for race, color, religion, creed, gender, national origin, age, disability, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
