Overview

Deerfield Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to manage and oversee commercial construction projects in Loveland, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while fostering client satisfaction and safety on job sites.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from pre-construction to completion
  • Ensure efficient use of resources including labor, materials, and equipment
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures
  • Develop and manage project schedules, identifying critical paths and potential delays
  • Enforce and promote a culture of safety on job sites
  • Foster effective communication among project teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Proactively identify and resolve construction-related issues
  • Travel to project sites for the duration of each project

Required skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Ability to implement plans and specifications, layout, and total control of the job site and schedule
  • Experience in restaurant, petroleum, retail, and other 'fast track' construction
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • OSHA 30-Hour Certification (preferred)
