Job Description

Overview

The Travel Structural Foreman will lead and coordinate crews involved in structural steel erection, commercial framing, prefabricated wall installation, and concrete formwork. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, layout work, and safety management and involves traveling nationwide for diverse construction projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate crews performing structural steel erection and commercial framing
  • Read blueprints and perform layout work to ensure accurate construction
  • Direct crane operations, rigging activities, and maintain jobsite safety
  • Manage daily production schedules, crew assignments, safety meetings, and timesheets
  • Ensure structures are built accurately and according to specifications

Required skills

  • 3+ years of experience in structural steel, commercial framing, or concrete formwork
  • Previous leadership experience managing multiple crews or subcontractors
  • Strong blueprint reading and layout skills
  • Knowledge of rigging and structural construction
  • Ability to travel 100% for projects and work overtime
  • OSHA 30 certification, Qualified Rigger, Crane Signaler, AWS Welding, or First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus
