Travel Risk & Patient Safety Manager RN Location: Cody, WY 82414Contract Length: 13 WeeksStart Date: 06/01/2026Schedule: Days Monday Friday 40 Hours Guaranteed Job Summary Seeking an experienced Risk & Patient Safety Manager RN to support organizational risk management, patient safety initiatives, compliance monitoring, and quality improvement programs. This role partners closely with leadership teams to improve patient outcomes, oversee event investigations, and drive performance improvement initiatives. Requirements Active Wyoming RN License RequiredBSN RequiredMaster s Degree PreferredMinimum 5 years of healthcare experienceExperience in Risk Management, Patient Safety, or Performance Improvement preferredEPIC EMR experience requiredCPHRM Certification preferredIf not certified, candidate must obtain CPHRM within 1 year of hireLEAN / Performance Improvement training preferred Key Responsibilities Lead patient safety and quality improvement initiativesOversee event reporting and incident investigation programsConduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Sentinel Event investigationsAnalyze trends and implement corrective action plansManage patient complaints and grievance processesSupport regulatory compliance and accreditation standardsPrepare risk management reports and claims summariesCollaborate with leadership on safety and performance strategiesEducate staff and medical teams on patient safety topics Additional Details EMR: EPICQuick Start PositionNo travelers accepted within 100 miles of facilityWyoming RN license must be active at submission1099 candidates not accepted
