Overview

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is looking for a skilled Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Stanhope, New Jersey. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments, while implementing personalized treatment plans to improve mobility and enhance quality of life.

Key responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' physical conditions using standardized tests and clinical examinations
  • Develop personalized rehabilitation programs based on assessment findings
  • Implement physical therapy treatment plans using various techniques
  • Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in medical records
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals for coordinated care
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and injury prevention
  • Maintain a safe treatment environment adhering to infection control and safety guidelines
  • Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities
  • Collaborate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for patients

Required skills

  • Valid Physical Therapy license
  • Current BLS certification
  • Doctorate degree in physical therapy (preferred)
  • Strong clinical skills and effective communication
  • Critical thinking and service excellence
  • Ability to work with a variety of personnel
  • Proficient in PC skills
